We started our career as a duo in 2002 with a show of politcal music cabaret called Der Zeitungsverkäufer (The Newsboy). After that we toured from 2003 to 2007 as The KRAMER-Projekt with our 2-Man-Musical Lob der Verzweiflung (Praise of Despair) staging the life of Austrian Jewish poet Theodor Kramer (book w/ audio CD appeared 2006 at ibidem-Verlag publishers).

2008 we decided to do a new program, this time featuring our own lyrics. Consequently, we rebaptized ourselves into HERZKASPER, a German colloquial term for "heart attack" or "ventricular fibrillation" which also contains the word jester.

Our debut album Ein Gespenst geht um (A spectre is haunting) came out in January 2010 and is available everywhere (label: phonector).
